"Shop around the corner" is my latest blog post idea to feature shops from around the globe that I adore. Come along with me for this virtual tour.
So first stop, my hometown: Fredericksburg, Texas. If you have not heard of it, you probably will soon. It has become a famed hamlet nestled in the hills of central Texas known for its plethora of antique shops, restaurants, and bed and breakfasts. (ie: "Homestead" (Carol Hicks Bolton) "Rather Sweet" (Rebecca Rather -Pastry Queen)
Today's feature is: "red" : a vintage inspired home furnishings store with a clean, cool modern twist. Red is the talent of designer, Carolyn Moore (whose work has been featured on HGTV, Country Home, ME Home and Better Homes and Gardens).
I'm in love with this chair selection and the color continuity. Treasure the use of "red's subtle blue-green color scheme and the witty subtraction of the color red!
Like what you see?? You are in luck, "red" has just partnered with Lushpad to bring their inspired designs to you. So shop online and have a little "red" for yourself!
To keep up with all the new items and happenings at "red" visit the red blog!
Heather, we are so thrilled to be featured on your beautiful blog! You have such gifts with both words and vision - we have 'gathering spriggs' in our feedreader and love to keep up with all that you are making and sharing in art and design! Can't wait to see the next stores you share as well - thanks again, we are so flattered!

Beautiful shop, Heather! I love the colors (of course I always notice those)! This is going to be a great feature. :)

Hello Heather! I am a fellow 'friend' from the BYW class and I just found your website. I am loving your design finds. I just put my husband up to building us a new entertainment center and this farmhouse cabinet gave me some good inspiration!
