The Modern Nursery

No, Im not expecting... lol!  But I have many friends who are amazing moms who spark my imagination!! And I started thinking about ways to blend styles, create gender neutral spaces and what a better showcase than the modern nursery. I had no idea what incredible design could be found!! So if you are looking for a nursery, here are some great resources. But for those of us who are not, what about borrowing some of these design schemes for any room!! Neutral walls, with pops of color and artsy accents, endless inspiration...

Hunting And Gathering: Monograms

 

There is something about personalizing our homes, marking them with our own symbols that offer up a sense of comfort and value.  I've been thinking about monogramming as a treasured past time that once marked heirlooms from our grandmothers, and yet there are so many wonderfully new and contemporary designs that draw inspiration from that past. Beginning to Dream

Hello dear friends! Happy Tuesday! Today we have a home inspection and so starts the process of selling our current home and purchasing another. I hadn't let myself dream much until we found a house this weekend. I knew my color palette would be changing from old house to new, but that was it. So here are a few photos that I have gathered over the weekend that are inspiring ideas for my new abode. Im transitioning from warm golds and greens to a cooler palette. I can't wait to have a little craft space to call my own (like the first photo). Im also transitioning to a more modern streamlined affect. Do you have any thoughts or brainstorms for my new design dilemma?

Tufting!!
