Hello dear friends. What a whirlwind of emotion this weekend has been for me!! How about you?? I experienced something I never thought I would experience Sunday as the torrential rains turned to tragic flooding. The local news has been on for 24 hours as we witness the devastation in our very own community! And then the unthinkable. We watched images of our previous home (that we moved from 8 months ago) submerged. In our new home we are situated on a hill and didn't have a speck of damage. Amazing! And it is strange when you hear of friends and previous neighbors being evacuated from their homes by boat! Our internet and phones have been out most of the past two days and it gave me to time to ponder about the precious things in life and have time to be unplugged. We feel so blessed. So to our friends and neighbors suffering today, " Our prayers are with you ". The sun is out today. a new day has dawned and there is hope again. We look forward to the rainbow after the rain

Wow, what a blessing that you escaped the flood many months ahead of time. The Lord is watching out for you and holds you in his hands. Grateful for you dear friend.
