Friends, thanks so much for being with me here everyday to listen and share with me. It is a solace to me. Since the New Year I have been researching new business ideas, marketing, and PR. But then my health took a turn and I have to put some of my grandiose ideas on the back burner for now. I ask myself a lot, nearly everyday what does "Success" mean. Does it mean money in your pocket? Does it mean more numbers on your blog stats? Does it mean more sales on Etsy? Does it mean reaching your target weight? Or is there something more... something deeper. Daily victories?
What does success mean to you?
oh Heather, some days for me it just means not eating an entire bag of chocolate chips :D some days it is etsy sales, or getting through most of my to do list. and then some times I look at the big picture and it is my wonderful family, our most-of- the-time happy lives and doing my best to be a good person. success has a new meaning every day

I wanted to add to this post some sound advice that I am getting via Twitter today coming from the Alt Summit http://www.altitudesummit.com/ In Salt Lake City:
Know your worth. You may be small, but have great engagement with readers
Leap yet listen, and remember you can leap more than once

I would love all of those things. But at the end of the day, I just want to be happy and healthy.

hello friend, how are you? this is an interesting question with no doubt whatsoever! well, success means so many things... and just like your friend said, it could mean different things from day to day! maybe etsy sales today, blog stats tomorrow, having a happy day on sunday... i do not know... there is not one simple answer, i believe. you must feel good about yourself and about what you do. if you feel this way when you go to bed, then you are feeling successful... with you & your life. that is the point, isn't it? :) have a great & sweet day! twiggs

For me, a person's success isn't measured by the money he earns, or the number of awards he achieves. It can be measured by how his contributions and legacy improved the lives of people.
