So this is the post I have most longed for in the series. After years of pouring over books, magazines, and blogs pining over my most hearted craft rooms, I realized its been my secret dream to have a craft room like one of these. And now maybe once we get a new home (hopefully soon) that dream will start taking shape. In the meantime, here is my stash ... Enjoy! Let me know your favorites!
Fabric designer, Heather Bailey's Studio.
Clever stationary storage from diyideas.com
Studio space from Shabby Scraps.
Detail from the above room.
Another studio again from Found Style.
One of my all time favorites from Victoria Magazine June 2002.
Milliner, Amy Hamilton.
Oh, they're all fantastic, aren't they!
I love Heather Bailey's studio. The colors are wonderful and that work table is FABULOUS!
My little 10x10 office/studio will be getting a makeover soon...too bad it won't involve knocking out a wall. LOL
Thanks for the inspiring photos!
Kimberly :)

The first one is my favorite. I love the mix of old and new, clean and shabby. Am collecting ideas like a sponge, anxiously awaiting our new home purchase to know what blank canvas awaits!

If I were to pick my favorite among those craft rooms, I would choose Heather Bailey's studio. For me, it's the one that looks like a home office the most. It may not be as full of character as the studios from Found Style, but it seems a lot more conducive for work than the rest of them. In the end, that's what's important: the appropriateness of an office space for work.

Mm, you're definitely going to get some office/craft-room envy from those pics. It's amazing how they managed to be so clean and organized. It takes quite a bit of work to do so, but once you get used to it, you start managing how to keep things clean while getting some work done in rooms like that.
