After a trip to my local library branch and browsing the new arrivals shelf, I spotted a book that has inspired this series on stylish storage using vintage finds. The book:country living storage style by lesley porcelli . Flipping through the pages one night this week spawned an exploration on this topic. So I have many more sources on the subject coming throughout the week. But for now, I pulled some of my favorite pics from the book to share with you here. (It is arranged by room/area of the home).
Amazing use of an antique library bookcase painted and revamped for china display.
As someone who works with painted cabinetry, I love this fresh fun combo of old and new/ color and neutral.
LOVE this crafty work station!! There are so many great repurposed items: the hanging fruit basket, vintage post office boxes, metal locker room baskets!
More to come...
I love this! Keep it coming!!

Hi Heather,
Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner but I am very pleased coming so close in the contest. Thanks again
I adore the antique library case and I would probably be very content having one for books and one for china….the color scheme is my favorite.
