I've never been a fan of my (husband's bachelor pad) headboard, and have tried various alternatives including constructing slipcovers. But I am still not satisfied, so today I began a hunt for clever vintage inspired alternatives for headboards. Here are some that have tickled my fancy:

Thanks so much for featuring headboard...err, iron railing. I guess when you're looking for something of the unusual variety, it kind of finds you when you least expect it! I do enjoy mine though, and not one complaint from hubby ~ bonus!
