Are you a hunter and gatherer? I've been collecting things since I was very young, everything from roadside detritus to delicate vintage hats. Now that I am preparing to move from a home that I share with another gatherer, I try hard to resist the temptation. So in order to resist the urge to pocket another pretty something, I've found other gatherers with delightful collections of vintage treasures to share with you! All of the above mentioned are artists in their own right, so go poke around their flickr finds for some visual treats.
Thanks so much for including my Russel Wright collection in your lovely post. Love the wallpaper and that brooch collection is stunning. My problem is, when I look at other's collections, I want to start collecting what they have. I guess I have a hunting and gathering problem! thanks again...

I don't collect too much, but I do have a collection of those tins. At the time I found the first one, I picked it up just because I loved the colors and it was inexpensive. Then every time I went thrift or antique shopping I seemed to find one. I couldn't pass them up.

Melissa, I hear ya. I have started a vintage tin collection too for the same reason.
Thanks all for your thoughts and stories.
Lara, I believe the pottery is called Russell Wright.
See you tomorrow!
