Beauty from debris. I love the delicate workings and handiwork of artist, Yuken Teruya, who creates intricate sculptures from items normally reserved for the trash bin- fast food bags, toliet paper rolls, pizza boxes, etc.. All of the above images except the last one are fast food bags or shopping bags. The bottom image is a sculpture from The Giving Tree book. Have a happy weekend! I'm excited for next week- it will be a color themed week at Gathering Spriggs! See you then!
wow...these are so stunning and complex and fun to look at. i love them. correction on the book title though. it is the Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein...my most favorite book ever!
love her eco friendly process and the contrast of a simple idea carried out in a complex way.
love it!

Oh, this is absolutely positively dreamy ...
I thought the first two images where photos of giant paper sculptures in weird rooms ...
I love being lost, travelling and dreaming in / from an image.
Thank you for this magical post !
