Umm. Can we say FABULOUS!!?? "Catch me I'm falling... falling in LOVE" I've dreamed of this moment since I was probably about 12 years old pining for vintage style clothes for a modern girl. My mother is a talented seamstress and created a beautiful satin 1940's inspired empire dress a couple of years ago for my birthday, but we would have loved to work with the pattern seen in the last image. So allow me to introduce Colette Patterns, a vintage inspired pattern company, and creation of Sarai Mitnick. Based in Portland, Oregon Sarai developed Colette Patterns to "help others create their own signature clothing". These timeless designs come in all sizes and experience levels. Now if we all had the creative styling as seen in the new pattern design photos all taken by Lisa Warninger we could walk proud as if we were Ingrid Bergman, Katherine Hepburn, or Grace Kelly.
Ooo love that coat collar!

I love her patterns too. I found her awhile back this last summer. Her patterns are so stylish and the pictures are gorgeous too.

These photos make me swoon! I am not accomplished enough with my sewing machine to try a pattern (yet), but I can dream!
Thank you for becoming a fan on my Sweet Eventide FB page! :)

I love her patterns.
But it is funny I kept being drawn to the lovely frame wall behind the models. I guess I'm in a home decor kind of mood today!
