How was your weekend? Did your covers look something like this? I've noticed more and more photographs of beds that are a little less than perfect. When I grew up I was required to make my bed every morning with hospital corners. Now, I really like a nice made up bed but am a little more lax. And these images offer a symbol of intimacy, tranquility and down-to-earthness. Now if Im going to an open house I would prefer that the bed was made up. What do you think?

These images make me want to get back into bed...
I'm a bit of a cheater, because I only have a fitted sheet, duvet and loads of pillows on my bed. I always kicked sheets off the bed, so I finally decided to do away with it.
Yet, I still don't make my bed daily! It's more of a weekend thing in my abode. These images are a pretty accurate reflection of how my bed looks right now...waiting for me.

That looks like my bed right now! I do like the casual easy going feel of unmade beds but only for a limited time. I absolutely hate coming home to an unmade bed - or getting in one for that matter! I`d even make it up two seconds before climbing back in...

although i usually make my bed, i insist on having great pillows and bed linens and such so that if it is unmade, it looks fab anyway! you can see my bed from the living room so it drives me crazy if it's unmade and not pretty. the truth is, if it's unmade, it still requires a little staging to make it look unintentionally fabulous!
