So I have been thinking about watercolor fabric designs and came across a Japanese artist that is completely new to me. I've tried to read her website and blog but google translate is not liking Japanese today. So I would love to find out more info on Nani Iro fabrics and the Antique Label. They are available at Purl Soho. And at the Kokka website and also found a list of retailers here. Wouldn't these prints make a great slipcover? They are so soft and feminine. Love, Love!
I love soft watercolour like that.... it's so fluid and the pastel colours are great!

These are gorgeous. Now that you've introduced me to them, I will sit anxiously awaiting a package of them to magically arrive at my door. Pretty please, universe. ;)

I love these fabrics too! I have some of the yellow flower antique label that I cannot bear to cut up.
I live in Japan so have seen the fabrics in person. The watercolor ones are a very fine almost sheer fabric designed for floaty dresses or lace/net curtains. It's described as "gauze". It's very delicate but the colors are true and the prints gorgeous. I've seen them made into cushion covers with a lining.
The antique label is a heavier weight and is lovely for bags, cushion covers, curtains etc. It's very very delicious.
