Thanks so much for having tea with me today! Its gray and rainy here today so I am feeling the warmth of your friendship in the midst of this cold drizzle. How about spicing things up a bit round here?? I know, I cant stop with the patterns, but have been wondering about the idea of patchwork and wanting to add some pattern to my own home. What do you think? Can you do large scale pattern at home or in your wardrobe? I have a very fashionable and artistic friend who can wear head to toe 1960's vintage dresses with large pattern, but not me. I am pretty petite and usually opt for solids. However, I want to be a bit more adventurous and these bold colors and patterns help me think I can do it after all. Small doses at first though. How about you??

Soooo pretty! I would love to rock the bold prints. Love that round mirror, too. Those things are everywhere these days and they are fantastic!

I love that patterned wall with the fireplace in that first photo!
You can totally do patterns, just don't shout them out to the world. A bag that is big with a bold pattern, a shirt that has a pattern but it's off to the side, or in the back, patterned shoes perhaps (but your cloths should be solids)

I think patterns are great! But I don't know if I would do them personally :)

I love looking at patterns but I too am not often found wearing lots of pattern...I also think big patterns are hard for me to commit to in my home as I worry that I will tire of it, I usually opt for varying texture as opposed to pattern.... however when I see that fireplace tile -I am like WOW -that is fantastic. I think I will start with making a patchwork quilt this year and go from there :)
