Oh, My goodness! What a week it has been! Whew! I've missed you all so much. Thank you for your lovely comments and for hanging in there with me. All of this frustration and I found out that the internet in the hotel we were staying at didn't like typepad and blocked all typepad blogs and accounts. So weird! Who knew! Im writing from a tea shop in Chicago right now while my husband finishes shopping at Reckless Records before we have to head out of town. The sun is out the clouds have parted (after a long rainy, cold week here) and it feels as if a new day has dawned! I've been thinking a lot about flowering trees right now and have been taking photos of theme wherever I go. Such a symbol of hope and a new dawn. I hope your weekend has the fragrance of these new spring blooms. Blessings dear friends!!
I will be back tomorrow with sooo much to share~

I love Spring blossoms (or is it blooms...?) In Vancouver, before Spring strikes all the Cherries blossom, and it's so magical, and pretty, not to mention the amazing fragrance!
Have a great weekend!

Oh, yes. Brigitte. We will have to meet up next time I am in town. We come up there at least 3 times a year! This trip was a little crazy. My husband's mother lives in Northern Indiana and we made it a family trip/Chicago vacation all in one. We heart Chicago. Our fave US city!

The vase provides a good contrast to the whole room and that first vintage photo is precisely a knocker. Everything vintage is good.
