Greetings dear friends. For today's Things I Love Thursdays I have been inspired by the special moments I am sharing with my younger sister who is visiting for the month. Although we are seventeen years apart in age its as if we share the same heart. (she's not your average teenager; more of an old soul which is good for me!). She is the blonde in the second image (along with me and my other sister). As the eldest of three I feel especially honored to have such a connection with my dear sisters. We laugh a lot and make up funny sayings that only we understand. We can give each other " the look" and its all over.
Usually in life, as women, true soul sisters are hard to come by and I started pondering the idea of intimate friendships between women. And I wondered about you.. Do you have any soul sisters, any friends that create an instant heart connection? Someone you can talk for hours with over a hot beverage?

So funny...I was just thinking about my sister last night. We have a large age difference -- she's 15. And I just rededicated myself to getting closer to her.

sisters who manage being good friends are the luckiest! We sometimes forget to maintain that very precious and rare relationship! I am forever sorry that my relationship with me sisters has always been lacking, and rocky...

Sisters are the best friends. I have 3 of them and they are all wonderful. My youngest sister died 3 years ago and I miss her terribly. We are the kind that talk every day and our husbands tease us about it. Your pictures are beautiful.

Yes my dear you are so blessed. Being one of 5 myself I too know how special having sisters as friends can be. We never forget those times of inner connection, and always know we are there for one another no mater what.
