Happy Monday dear readers! A new week has dawned for me and I am returning back to work this week after a several week hiatus from spraining my ankle. School starts this week and my husband returns to teaching.... September is upon us and I feel the changes in the air creeping up. Exciting changes. Fresh renewal. I love when the seasons are on the cusp of change and you say goodbye and hello all at once. These images from Nicholas Lawn felt like the perfect fit for such a transition. I especially love the nostalgic vibe in these shoots. So what about you? Are you transitioning too? Do you feel change in the air?
I wish I could say the same. It's just too hot here in Texas :( But I loved imagining that change while reading your post and seeing these lovely photos. It makes me think ahead to the future where lots of changes will be happening. Thanks for putting me in a great mood!

B still my beating heart! This is oh-so beautiful, heather. What a find! this is my favourite kind of photography, so dreamy and old-world.

dawn, being a native Texan, I completely understand!! I just spoke to my grandparents yesterday and they said it was 99 degrees in the hill country! although its still hot in nashville its not that hot. sorry. that is one thing i appreciate about tennessee ... the four seasons. four actual distinct seasons. so ill send you peaceful season changing thoughts out your way. but im glad you enjoyed the images.

Hello darling!
Oh how I love these photographs, I saw them also on another blog and saved the whole lot of them.
I do feel the change in the air and I'm very excited for it! Fall is a wonderful season (I shall not say my favourite for I love them all to pieces!) and I am looking forward to it.
XOXO-
Rachel
