So I've decided after reading this fabulous interview of Tif Fussell (aka Dottie Angel) that I want an alter ego too! Someone to help me live in that place between reality and desire. A little sweet, a little spicy and almost always nearly nice. (In a Southern kind of way). And today these images are inspiring my new persona. Except that she has it a bit more together than I do and doesn't have to write blog posts sitting on the floor of her clients house before she begins painting the living room cabinets for the day! Because she would never do such a thing (as sitting on the floor... horrors!) She also never burns anything in the kitchen :)
So how about you? Who do you daydream about being when reality gets you down?

I love this concept of an alter-ego. In college, I was nicknamed Wonder Spaz. Does that count?

LOL!! Does that mean you were a spaz with super powers?? if so, sounds like my kind of heroine!! My friend Ginny used to call me Air Spriggs (when Air Jordans were popular) cause I was super klutzy (well still am) and I tried to pretend I could play basket ball and went for a layup and slid down the pole with jeans and legs getting caught on the screws and still have scars from the incident ... my attempt at cool... never did work out so well.

This is great! Air Spriggs, you define cool and Wonder Spaz, I'm glad you're finding such lovely avenues for that passion!
When i was eight or so I wanted to be called "fudge" because, well, I liked fudge...luckily it never quite took UNTIL, I mention this bit of personal trivia to my father-in-law who likes to occasionally refer to me as such.
I'l have to ponder what my adult alter-ego could be...

hello there! this is the editor of that delicious interview about tif fussell :) :) this is my alter ego talking because she has that much sense of homour :p this is really good! it is curious because when i read miss tif's blog i imagine a lady like mary poppins... i believe that my alter-ego is more like miss audrey hepburn, delicate & girly...
may you have a sweet day, air spriggs!
