Thank you all dear friends for sharing with me yesterday. Honestly, I am overcome with gratitude and admiration for your presence. Thank you for stopping by daily with open hearts, honesty and great wisdom participating in my portion of the world. As you might have noticed I am taking my blog in a slightly different direction that includes building a more intentional community with you here... providing a place for honest connections in our struggles and joys pursuing and crafting a creative life. In fact, as I work on the new GS site I have been brainstorming a new tag line. Here are some thoughts. What do you think? I am getting stuck in this and need some fresh perspective:
Gathering Spriggs: crafting creative community
Gathering Spriggs: a modern romantic creating conscious connections
Gathering Spriggs: create, collect, connect
For it is YOU dear readers that give me impetus to keep moving forward... I love your creative contributions here and in the Gathering Spriggs Flickr group where I gleaned these lovely images. Please join so you can share your visual responses or inspirations as well.
Your beauty inspires me! Thank you! I am thankful for you today!
++ Also, here is a great article on the benefits of Flickr and Pinterest in blogland and creating on online business.

Oh this is so much fun! I love the direction you're taking, and I think these taglines certainly convey your new content.
Here's my gut reaction to each:
Gathering Spriggs: crafting creative community. How about separating the words...something like
crafting. creative. community.
Gathering Spriggs: a modern romantic creating conscious connections
I like this, because I know you and your blog. But if I didn't, I don't think I'd understand it.
Gathering Spriggs: create, collect, connect
Again, I like periods. I'm weird that way.
create. collect. connect.
I like the first and third the best...but I'm not sure which! I'm also reluctant to have you drop the modern romantic altogether, because that conveys your style SO WELL. and that's an integral part to both your writing and your products.
I'm sorry that's not very definitive. Just my gut response to each.

Aww Heather you're very welcome
Thank you for your honest writing and for your aim in hosting a place where we can all contribute our thoughts and be open.
It's such a good idea.
I wanted to add on the tag line topic
Create Craft and Connect
I'm not certain you need collect since that already covered in the word Gathering.
Just as an option. as the craft is in reference to crafting a life not just crafting.
Love kat x

I like "Gathering Spriggs: Crafting Creative Community" and "Create, Collect, Connect." I think both convey what you are trying to communicate in a concise way. I'm really excited for you and this new adventure!!!

Hi Heather, not to discourage you, and more like a fresh thought, but do you NEED a tagline? Your blog is so much more than those few words and I think people do not need to be guided and just have to read your posts. But that is just my humble opinion...

I do like the third option for its conciseness. :)

thank you iris! that is a really interesting point you make. it might be good to leave well enough alone. i will have link buttons under my blog banner and they will have the words" connect, created, collected, community, etc..
so I am gathering all of this fabulous critique and will take it into consideration.
