Happy Monday Dear Friends!! How was your weekend?? Are you covered in Snow?? Seems like most of the US is covered right now. I live in Tennessee and we rarely see snow this early in the season but it was a beautiful Winter Wonderland treat! Its already melting but it did afford me a day at home. (We don't really have salt trucks or the equipment to deal with snow to speak of, so the roads are always bad.) So I am planning to use my day off to do some crafting gifts for my friends and family. I was inspired by this Pinboard... all things FELT! Now, I have never really meddled with felt before but these ideas really look fun for some reason. After making a few floral brooches I gained some confidence with my crafting skills, plus I love working small and these little projects feel just do-able. I especially like the Purl Soho DIY tutorials!
What do you think of felt? Love or Loathe? Do you have any holiday craft projects up your sleeves? Do Share! I'd love to hear what you are up to this week?

I've been converted to a felt lover this year. I've been working on presents made from it and I'm now obsessed.

I really love felt for some reason. :-) It feels Old World to me, and cozy, and fairytale-ish.

Love the flowers! I cooked our first Christmas dinner this weekend and it was fun. We had my husband's firm over and the house was filled with happy people who enjoyed the food and the wines. No snow here, but I am still hoping for a white Christmas!
