Words elude me today. Pictures are worth a thousand words. So I leave you with one of my favorite colors that adorns my own home with its unsuspecting hues. What is your most desired color to accent your abode?

These are pretty! love that last picture especially...there's just something about that grand gilded mirror, the aqua and the touches of peachy goodness beneath the off white paint on the...furnace thing...what are those called? I forget :)

This is so soothing. I think a punch of aqua is just what we need as the winter drags on.

dreamy - i love to add aqua/turquoise in otherwise muted areas of my home. and also pink. those colors lift my spirits, which i particularly need on a gray, drizzly day like today!

What a perfectly lovely collection of images, Heather! I love the color, and you have always been my inspiration for doing so. When I first met you, in the 6th grade, your mom's room was painted this color and a pretty aqua floral spread was so cozily arranged on her bed. And the carpet was PINK. I loved it and soaked up every ounce of the wonderful feminine beauty that radiated throughout that house. It was where I learned to put on lipstick and shave my legs.
Thanks for reviving those memories with this color post!

I love the drapes in that first room, both the colour and style, so unusual!

That room in the first photo is just nuts. What a dream, with those huge windows and high ceiling. Is it in Paris?
The vintage fans are yours? They're lovely.

I love the mounted fabric. I have this idea for a party where everyone brings a fabric that is special to them. Something they bought on vacation in Europe or even their favorite T-shirt, and they all get mounted and hung on the birthday boy or girl's wall. It gets photographed, too, and everyone goes home with a thank you photo. What do you think?
