Building a home is a continual work in progress. And in mine I tend to want a finished product sooner rather than later. Do you know what I mean? So I decided to overcome my perfectionist tendencies and share a little sneak peak of the projects I have been working on for the past few months around the house. It all started with
this design dilemma. And from staring at my colorless walls I began building a palette and trying to create a warmer welcome.
With a next to nothing budget I decided to work with my strengths. Paint. A quick and easy solution to transform nearly anything. I spend my days
painting other people's homes to make a living and although I a tend to be tired when I come home, I began to do unto myself as I do unto others. I've enjoyed it so much that now I am continuing to paint vintage finds and small household items and have listed them for sale at
Gathering Spriggs.
I would love to hear your thoughts, critiques, and suggestions to take it to the next level.
p.s. I am in the process of getting a slipcover made in canvas for the green couch!
